Sanko University Sani Konukoğlu Foundation was established in 1989 by SANKO Holding and Konukoğlu Family. Most of the revenue of the Foundation is provided by the founding members and companies of SANKO Holding.
Sani Konukoğlu Foundation, which continues increasing its education and health services in line with the Foundation Agreement, has been entitled to tax exemption by the Council of Ministers’ decision dated 20.12.1995 and numbered 95/7663.
In 1997, Sani Konukoğlu Foundation was selected as the foundation of the year among 4500 foundations operating in the field of Education and Health in Turkey.
Sani Konukoğlu Foundation established SANKO University with the law numbered 6492 published in the Official Gazette No. 28681 dated 18 June 2013 (Appendix 1). Thus, SANKO University has begun to commence services since then.
