Yüksek İhtisas University started its education in 2015 with 51 students at the Faculty of Medicine. The Faculty of Medicine is going to have the first graduates in 2020-2021 academic year. In 2016, in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Departments of Nutrition and Dietetics and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation; Medical Documentation and Secretarial Associate Degree Program in Vocational School of Health continued its education and training programs. This associate degree program had its first graduates in 2018 In 2017-2018 academic year, Nursing and Health Management Departments were opened within the Faculty of Health Sciences and teaching in four different departments has been realised within the Faculty of Health Sciences.Inthe same year, Electroneurophysiology and Operation Room Services started in Vocational School of Health and in 2018-2019 academic year, the Anesthesia Associate Degree Program started education and training programs.In 2016-2017 academic year, Institute of Health Sciences started education with the Anatomy Master Program with thesis. In 2017-2018 academic year, Master Program of Internal Diseases Nursing with thesis, and Medical Microbiology Master Program with thesis started.In addition, Medical Genetics Master Program with thesis started in 2018-2019 academic year
