At TOBB ETU, each academic year is divided into three equal parts: Fall, Spring and Summer. The purpose of this different semester system, which is not implemented in any other university in Turkey, is to increase the length of work experience our students will have before they get their undergraduate degrees. All of our students go to joint education 3 times before graduating and graduate with a work experience of about 1 year. At TOBB ETÜ, our students use their 4-year education period efficiently, take less vacation than their peers, and work more.
